The First Executive Committee Meeting of the 2025–2027 term was held under the chairmanship of
President Sirajul Basith Choudhury and conducted by General Secretary Md Quamrul Hassan (MQ
Hassan).
The meeting reviewed the transition from the previous Executive Committee and discussed DUAUK’s
programme of activities for the new term.
Key matters discussed and approved included:
* Formation of a seven-member Advisory Committee.
* Co-option of five members to the Executive Committee.
* Appointment of five Trustees for 2025–2027.
* Victory Day Discussion and Cultural Programme.
* An annual programme calendar covering 11 major activities.
* Restructuring of official WhatsApp groups.
* Admission of new members.
* Strengthening email communication as the principal official communication channel.
* Continued development of the DUAUK Scholarship Trust Fund.
Treasurer Syed Zafor presented the financial report, which was accepted by the meeting.
A total of 24 office-bearers and EC members attended the meeting. A dinner was served to the
attendees.
New EC members were welcomed with flowers. The meeting also included a cake-cutting ceremony following recognition of General Secretary MQ Hassan’s British Bangladeshi Who’s Who Award.
