Purpose
One of DUAUK’s most important objectives is to support students of the University of Dhaka who require financial assistance to continue their education.
Through the DUAUK Trust Fund, we aim to raise funds from alumni, supporters and well-wishers and use those funds to provide educational support to meritorious and disadvantaged students of the University of Dhaka.
DUAUK works with the University of Dhaka to identify and support eligible students and to arrange scholarship initiatives and scholarship ceremonies.
We believe that education is one of the most powerful ways to transform lives and create opportunities for future generations.

Background
The DUAUK Trust Fund was established to formalise the alumni community’s long-standing tradition of giving back to the University of Dhaka, turning individual acts of generosity from alumni across the UK into a sustained, collective programme of support.
Since then, the Fund has grown through the continued contributions of alumni, supporters and well-wishers, enabling DUAUK to work in partnership with the University of Dhaka on scholarship initiatives and award ceremonies each year.
