Aims & Objectives

The principal aims and objectives of DUAUK are to:

Promote fellowship, friendship and unity among alumni.
Strengthen communication and engagement between members.
Provide opportunities for alumni to reconnect with their fellow graduates.
Organise cultural, educational, social and recreational activities.
Encourage professional networking, mentoring and knowledge exchange.
Celebrate the heritage of the University of Dhaka.
Celebrate Bangladesh’s national days and important national occasions.
Support charitable and humanitarian causes.
Establish and develop partnerships with educational, professional and community organisations.
Support meritorious and disadvantaged students of the University of Dhaka through the DUAUK Trust Fund.
Arrange scholarship programmes and scholarship ceremonies in collaboration with the University of Dhaka.
Represent and promote the interests and goodwill of University of Dhaka alumni in the UK.
Encourage alumni to contribute positively to British Bangladeshi and wider UK society.
