DUAUK initiated the development of a new official website following a review of the existing
website.
The review identified issues including outdated technology and content, limited administrative
access and dependence on third parties for updates.
Following discussions involving the President, Treasurer and alumni IT professionals, DUAUK agreed
that the new website should:
- Be established in the organisation’s name.
- Have the domain and hosting independently controlled by DUAUK.
- Remain fully owned and administered by DUAUK.
- Allow future content updates to be managed internally.
A new domain and hosting package has been secured for four years at a cost of £198.60.
The General Secretary is coordinating the preparation of website content for review and approval by
the President, Treasurer and designated technical team.
The website development work is ongoing.
